What I liked about Untouched by Anna Campbell:
- Matthew, Lord Sheene. OK. He is not your typical libertine, I-know-all-the-sex-positions-in-the-Kamasutra-book hero but he is a cutie AND a quick learner ;). It was refreshing to read a character like Lord Sheene - he had needs and wants but he didn't take Grace to bed right away; he wanted to but he tried not to give in.
- spoiler alert! Matthew and Grace's first time making love -- it was a good example of how many women feel in bed sometimes. Matthew was rushing into it - duh! his first time - and Grace was left hanging. Awesome! Why awesome? Because Anna Campbell didn't give her readers another "yes, yes, yes, I got a orgasm and it was my first time" scene. It felt more like what sometimes happens in reality. Many times, us women are left "hanging" to have that orgasm. So, thank you, Anna Campbell for making this scene feel realistic. (Don't worry, Matthew makes it better... waaaayyy better!)
- Wolfram's end. What happened to the dog? Did Matthew see him again? Did he die? Anna Campbell didn't tell us what happened to him. I'm a dog owner/lover so I was a bit disappointed about this.
- "This could be our only chance, Matthew. Heaven forgive me, but I’ve never wanted a man before. I want you. Don’t make me want alone." (Chapter 14)
- "She was more than any of these. She was Grace. And soon she’d be his. Soon? Now!" (Chapter 14)
- "How is a fellow to make a start with this business, Mrs. Paget?” Her smile widened while desire bubbled like champagne inside her. “A kiss is always a good beginning" (Chapter 14)
You betcha! Don't leave this book untouched! A good read.
